This application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall Pebble IT Solutions Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability — including loss of data, loss of access to any account, or any other loss — arising from, out of, or in connection with the use of this application.

You are solely responsible for keeping independent backup access (such as printed backup codes or an alternate authentication method) for every account protected by codes generated by this app.

What that means in everyday words

  • We've built the app with care, and it's free, but we can't promise it will suit every purpose or never have a fault, and we can't be responsible for a loss that follows from using it.
  • Two-step codes are the keys to your accounts. Keep another way in for each account, such as the backup codes the website gave you, so that losing your phone, or a problem with any app, never locks you out for good.
  • Making a Private Authenticator backup and keeping its recovery key safe is the other half of that advice.
